    Book is entitled Letters From a Field Hospital, published 1916 by MacMillan and Co. of London and written by Mabel Dearmer. Memoir of the author is presented by Stephan Gwynn. Copyright is 1915 - this is the 3rd printing. Contains 182 pages account of the author's experiences during World War I. Ms. Dearmer enrolled as a hospital orderly with a hospital unit in Serbia during WW I. After serving only 3 months she died of enteric fever in 1915. She was later commemorated with a war memorial fountain at Gloucestershire. A Very Good copy of this scarce book.
