Description
Presented here for sale is an incredible opportunity for a very rare piece of World War I ephemera. "The Amaroc News" was a soldier-issued news letter that took the place of Stars and Stripes for American soldiers stationed in Germany between 1919 and 1923. So precious few of these made it back from overseas, they are almost impossible to find in any condition. This particular edition, from May, 16th 1919, is in remarkable shape. Estate sale find inside a bundled collection of Stars and Stripes also from 1919. Folded with some small tears around the edges that do not affect text. Four pages. 21x14 inches. Giant cartoon on rear page. Do not let this one get away, you will not get another chance at an original issue anytime soon. A must have for any serious WWI collector. Please also check out my auction for an original issue of the Sixth Division Circulator found in the same lot.Shipping costs include insurance for price of sale.
