    U.S. Navy Sailor From New York 1908- 1950 Travel Log Diary. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.
    Frank H Doran Enlisted 10/15/1908 Served on many ships until January 1929. He returned to the Navy in 1942
    Achieved chief bandmaster

    Very very interesting read he mentions Ship being torpedoed, Battle at Haiti, declaring war on Germany, transporting Mexican refugees, and meeting or performing for several presidents Roosevelt Taft Hoover.
    Throughout the diary he writes about getting married and having several children.
    The diary ends in 1950 with his wife dying.
    Included is a three pieces of paper a special clothing pass, USS Kansas muster report and a Navy band concert while he was on board the USS Maryland from 1928. In the back of the book a prescription for stomach ulcer medicine and a couple pieces of paper with a French address.
