    Description

You're bidding on an original Japanese Taisho Enthronement silver medal. Please take care in examining the photos for the condition of this medal as it's the exact one you're bidding on. The ribbon appears to have been resewn by hand.
While the Taisho Emperor ascended to the throne in 1912, the ceremonies for this enthronement didn't take place until 1915. This medal commemorates that 1915 event. The medal is made of silver with an attached gilt chrysanthemum. The obverse features two imperial banners with "Banzai" written on them. The reverse is inscribed with "Taisho 4 (1915) November, Enthronement Commemorative Medal".
We're more than happy to combine multiple orders to save on overall shipping costs.
